Another Scientist who did not fall for the evolution theory

Dr. Kramer is a research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. He holds a B.S. (Hons) from the University of Manitoba, an M.S. in biochemistry from the University of Manitoba, a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Minnesota and completed three years of post-doctoral studies as a Hormel fellow at the Hormel Institute and as an NRC fellow at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Kramer has identified, characterized and synthesized the structure of numerous food, bacterial, and biological components and has published 128 refereed papers and numerous abstracts and book chapters. He was one of the core scientists who evaluated the toxicological, nutritional and biochemical properties of canola oil and demonstrated its safety. He presently serves as associate editor of the scientific journal LIPIDS.

Since completing my PhD in 1968, I have spent 30 years doing lipid research. Although my work has not specifically addressed the “origin of life” or the “age of the Earth,” I believe these issues have far- reaching implications in the area of lipid biochemistry and nutrition research.

Although I had committed my life to Jesus Christ and made a radical profession of my faith at the age of 16, at which time I was baptized, I now faced “my hour of decision.” Should I believe in evolution or God? Having studied this area without the help of any Christian literature on this topic, I came to the firm conclusion that evolution lacked evidence to make it credible. I therefore determined to believe God’s account for the time being and continued looking for evidence, one way or another.

Early background

I grew up in a Bible- believing home. Throughout high school I liked the sciences and excelled in these subjects. Therefore, it was natural for me to choose a career in scientific research. It was during my last year in high school that one of the pastors in our church approached me, concerned that I might lose my faith if I proceeded in a scientific career. He encouraged me to view the first chapter of Jesus without a timescale, since in his opinion it was more important to believe that God created all things, irrespective of how long it took. At first, this View seemed rather inconsistent with my interpretation of Scripture. But, I must admit, this thought raised sufficient doubt in my mind that I did not defend either position with much enthusiasm for several years. I was relieved that a critical confrontation never materialized in any of my classes throughout my BSc (Hons) and MSc program in chemistry and biochemistry at the University of Manitoba.

Confronted with a Choice.

In 1964, I transferred to the University of Minnesota for a PhD program in Biochemistry with a minor in organic chemistry. It was there I was confronted with this very issue in my second year in a course in endocrinology. We were asked to write an essay on how life began, based on evolutionary principles. Weeks of reading and studying this subject provided me with no logical mechanism for evolutionary processes. I was looking for the type of evidence familiar to me in biochemistry and organic chemistry. It was obvious to me that life could not form or be sustained in either a reducing or oxidizing atmosphere, never mind the unlikely association of inanimate molecules to form highly ordered structures containing information. Fragile biological cells, and processes were several parts. All need to be working together simultaneously.

While I had to write the essay. I did. I described a possible scenario which I thought would be tested experimentally. However, after rereading the essay several times, I continued to see the weakness of my arguments. in total frustration and confusion, I added a few sentences at the end to the effect that would be easier to believe in a creator who made it all, then in favorable conditions, acting on inanimate matter over time. The low mark on the essay was most discouraging, and all attempts failed to change the score. I realized I was found out!

It was at this time I came across books by McKay and Morris and Whitcomb which impressed me greatly. On the other hand, I became very disillusioned with Evolutionists who managed to give good science followed by irrational conclusions that complex systems and processes just happened by some unexplained and evolutionary mechanism plus time.

In retrospect, that low mark on the evolution essay was the best thing that happened to me. I learned to critically evaluate the facts, irrespective of outside pressures. It was then that I began to see clear evidence for creation (Rom. 1:19–20). I took every opportunity to study Scripture and read books on beginnings. It was at this time I came across books by MacKay and Morris and Whitcomb which impressed me greatly. On the other hand, I became very disillusioned with evolutionists who managed to give good science followed by irrational conclusions that complex systems and processes just happened by some unexplained evolutionary mechanism plus time. No evidence. No logic. Just wishful dreaming. It also became evident to me that both views were strictly a matter of belief. To me the creation scenario appeared more logical than an explosion followed by self-propelled organization of matter which does not possess these properties.

Population Growth

1. 1. In 1922 the Earth’s population was estimated at 1,804,187,000.

      1. It has increased exponentially since this time, and quadrupled this number in just 100 years. So because the growth rate has changed since then, we are going to use the 1922 figure to work with.
      2. The Chinese rice board,  Put a penny on the first square and double it for each following squares and by the time we hit the 64 square, we would have more money than we could count.
      3. To arrive at a population of 1,804,187,000. The population starting with 2 people would have to double itself between 30 to 31 times, in fact 30.75, in other words, we were at the 30th square on the rice board, and starting to move to the 31^st  in 1922, however by 2022, just one hundred years later we moved to the 34th square.

   2. Let’s use some time numbers at this point and give two reference points as evidence

      1. Using the Bible, along with well-documented historical events, and some math, we find that the Flood began approximately 4,359 years ago in the year 1656 AM or 2348 BC., and (5177 – 6027) years since the ancestors of mankind numbered only two, Noah and his wife according to Hales.
      2. By dividing 5177 by 30.75, we find it requires an average of 168.3 – 196 years (the difference depends on who is calculating the time, but it is very close) for the human race to double its numbers, in order to make the present population. This is a reasonable average length of time.
      3. How can this be verified as an accurate estimate of time and growth
         1. By comparing it to factors than have been observed, and making the comparison. In other words, we can take certain groups of people, check their population growth for the same time period and find the numbers correspond very closely.
         2. Isn’t that the process in Science? To either observe or recreate their hypothesis in order to establish a theory?
         3. Abraham is the father of two peoples
            1. Decedents of Israel (Isaac)
            2. Decedents of Ismael
         4. According to Hales, 3850 years have passed since the marriage of Jacob. By the same method of calculation as above, the Jews, who, according to the Jewish yearbook for 1922, number 15,393, 815, must have doubled their numbers 23.8758 times, (this is very close to our Chinese rice board calculations, just a square or two off) or once every 161.251 years. ( a number twice as high as the original number of 168.3 would have been acceptable as a comparison)
         5. The decedents of Ismael: Also, the 25,000,000 descendants of Abraham must have doubled their numbers every 162.275 years, during the 3,988 years since the birth of his son Ishmael.
         6. Mathematics is an exact science (even though the dates may be a bit off, it would still be very close), even though we have variations due to diseases wars, and etc., we are looking at averages, and when you have three sources to average, and they come out almost identical, we can trust the validity of their results. And based upon these three results I feel we can trust the age of humanity after the flood as stated by Hales.
         7. Evolution according these figures is impossible.

   3. Negative Evidence:

      1. If the human race is 2,000,000 years old, the period of doubling would be 65,040 years, or 402 times that of the Jews, which, of course, is unthinkable.
         1. In other words, to move from one square to the next on our Chinese Rice Board, it would take approximately 65,000 years
            1. Using this rate, humanity would have been impossible, the first 2 people would have two children and then wait another 65,000 years in order to have two more, and the first two children having two, and we thought Methuselah was old at 900 + years. Of course common sense tells us the doubling of the population would have to have occurred very quickly for the human race to survive, which makes matters worse meaning that latter down the rice board the doubling would have to have been much greater than once every 65,000 years.
         2. Evolutionists claim that the human race is 2,000,000 years old.
            1. But let us generously suppose that these remote ancestors, beginning with one pair, (which scientists in 2019 have verified we all came from one man and one woman, but state they may have lived 100,000 years apart… sounds like double talk, anything to reject God) doubled their numbers in 1612.51 years one-tenth as rapidly as the Jews, or 1240 times in 2,000,000 years.
            2. If we raise 2 to the 1240th power, (moving from one square to the next on the Chinese Rice board every 1240 years) the result is 18,932,139,737,991 with 360 figures following. The population of the world, therefore, would have been 18,932,139,737,991 decillion, decillion, decillion. decillion, decillion, decillion, decillion, decillion, decillion, decillion
            3. Or, let us suppose that man, the dominant species, originated from a single pair, only 100,000 years ago, the shortest period suggested by any evolutionist (and much too short for evolution) and that the population doubled in 1612.51 years, one-tenth the Jewish rate of net increase, a most generous estimate. The present population of the globe should be 4,660,210,253,138,204,300 or an additional 2,527,570,733 for every man, woman and child! In these calculations, we have made greater allowances than any self-respecting evolutionist could ask without blushing. And yet withal, it is as clear as the light of day that the ancestors of man could not possibly have lived 2,000,000 or 1,000,000 or 100,000 years ago
            4. If the population had increased at the Jewish rate for 10,000 years, it would be more than two billion times as great as it is. No guess that ever was made, or ever can be made, much in excess of 5177 years, can possibly stand as the age of man. The evolutionist cannot sidestep this argument by a new guess.

Now, if there had been no flood to destroy the human race, then the descendants of Adam, in the 7333 years would have been 16,384 times the 1,804,187,000, or 29,559,799,808,000; or computed at the Jewish rate of net increase for 7333 years since Adam, the population would have been still greater, or 35,184,372,088,832. These calculations are in perfect accord with the Scripture story of the special creation of man, and the destruction of the race by a flood. Had it not been for the flood, the earth could not have sustained the descendants of Adam.

Final thoughts

We have more than quadrupled in population in the last 100 years, from under 2 billion to over 8 billion, and we are in line to double and triple again as these numbers are now increasing exponentially, in other words at a faster and faster rate.

Scientist, claim the earth can only feed about 10 billion people (I doubt this) if so then we are running out of time, even if it can feed that many people, just think of how over populated we will be…

Think about the leftist ideologies… they are pushing population reduction, and it started a century ago with people like Margret Sanger and eugenic who wanted/ and preached about how we had to remove what she referred to as “human weeds” namely, the mentally, and physically challenged, and she included anyone who was not white! She preached openly at KKK meetings about removing the black population, and inspired them to commit the evil acts they committed, and she inspired many others to become eugenics including Hitler who murdered 6 million Jews in his effort to cleanse the human race, others including most people of that era, and the leftist of today.

Think about their agenda’s, the push abortion… slows down population growth, homosexuals, they can’t reproduce, transgenderism, they can’t reproduce, sexually mutilating small children, who will then never be able to reproduce….

This explains their attack on Christians, and conservatives because we reject that ideology…

And, it has brought a level of evil upon the world never seen before….

It has brought us into a time when we can truly see all the end-time prophesies being fulfilled before our eyes.

The dimensions of Genesis 6:15 are 300 X 50 X 30 cubits. Most scholars calculate an 18″ cubit, but Moses was raised in the wisdom of the Egyptians and would have likely used the 20.6″ Egyptian cubit (Acts 7:22).

1. Size of the Ark in cubit feet
   1. Egyptian cubit = 20.6″ = 515′ X 85.83′ X 51.5′ = 2,276,429 cubic feet.
   2. Babylonian cubit = 18″ = 450′ X 75′ X 45′ = 1,518,750 cubic Feet.
   3. Box car (Train) = 2,760 cubic feet:
      = 824.79 box cars (Egyptian cubit).
      = 550.27 box cars (Babylon. cubit).

   1. 500,000 species of land life.
   2. 498,000 are insects, worms and animals smaller than a sheep.
      1. Box car holds 240 sheep.
