This series started out as a series of lessons/ sermons for the Beggs Church of Christ in Beggs OK.
Unfortunately, the Church was unable to remain open, but I decided to continue with the series, basically for my own study, or self-education, however who knows who might decide to join me in this journey.
I am starting in Genesis… seems like a logical place to start… but actually even before that.
What I mean by that is the real starting place is to determine if the Bible can be trusted to be the word of God.
Can it be trusted to be without errors with the exception of small errors that are unavoidable in translating it from the original language.
But there are many areas of study that must be examined in order to truly demonstrate the reality of the statement that it is “God Breathed”…. if it is, you are holding a miracle beyond all understanding.
It just boggles the mind when you look at the complexity of the Bible, and all creation for that matter.
Okay, time for a disclaimer… I am not professing to be a mathematician or Scientist… however I will be using videos and blogs from various people in these fields to help demonstrate the science behind and in the bible…
Most of us will not be interested in watching these videos, but those of you who do you will be blessed by them.
It is now said that we live in a mathematical universe… and that is true…everything has a mathematical foundation to it, even our bodies follow all the mathematical patterns found throughout the Universe.
But it goes even further than that… The Bible in its original form, without spaces, without punctuation is a mathematical code that gives incredible evidence that it could not have been written by a mere man.
Here is a message, a mathematical code written by 40 men over a 1,400-year period and it comes together in a perfect message, and with a perfect mathematical code….
it reminds me of a movie I saw once where a young girl just starts writing what appears to be just random numbers but turns out to be an incredibly accurate predictions of future catastrophic events including the end time event. Here’s a clip from that Movie.

So, this message takes you into two directions that meet somewhere along the way and becomes one message….
I will be examining the scripture, attempting to explain what it says, how it should be interpreted, what the different interpretations are, how we can know which interpretation is correct, and the defense of the truth of scripture….
That is called Christian Apologetics or Christian Defenses.
So this is the process….
- We will study the bible.
- We will determine what is being said
- We will determine if there are external evidences of it’s truth, such as from science.
